Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 2026-09-17

The short version

Some of the links on snaplens.co and in the emails I send are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I get paid a commission by the company selling it. You pay the same price you would have paid without my link. The commission comes out of the seller's margin, not your pocket.

The United States Federal Trade Commission requires this to be disclosed. I would tell you anyway, because you deserve to know when the person recommending something gets paid for it.

How an affiliate link works

When you click an affiliate link, the company on the other end records that you arrived from me. If you buy, they pay me a percentage of the sale. It happens automatically in the background.

My affiliate links pass through a redirect on my own domain first. That is how I know which email or page produced the click. It does not change the price and it does not change what you buy.

I have a financial interest, so weigh what I say accordingly

Here is the honest position. I only write about products I think are worth a look. I am not going to promote something I believe is garbage, because a list of people who trust me is worth more than any single commission.

But I still get paid when you buy. That is a real financial interest and it can bias anyone, including me. Read what I write as the opinion of someone who stands to earn money if you act on it. Do your own research. Look for reviews from people who are not earning a commission. Compare it against alternatives. If something sounds too good, it is.

I have not usually been paid to write a specific review, and I am not employed by the companies whose products I link to. Nobody gets to approve my emails before they go out.

No income claims. None.

Nothing on this site or in my emails is a promise, guarantee or projection of earnings.

I do not tell you what you will make. I do not tell you what you are likely to make. If you see a figure in a product's own marketing, that is the product vendor talking, not me, and you should treat it with suspicion.

Any result you read about anywhere, mine or anyone else's, is one person's result. It is not typical, it is not an average, and it is not what you should expect.

Most people do not build a business from this

This is the part most affiliate pages leave out, so I will say it clearly.

Most people who buy an online business course, tool or system do not build a business with it. Many never finish the material. Many finish it and never put it into practice. Of the ones who do put it into practice, most earn little or nothing, and some spend more than they make.

That is not a knock on any particular product. It is simply what the numbers look like across this whole industry. Buying something does not make you money. Doing the work might, and even then it might not.

Your results depend on you

Whether anything I mention works for you depends on things I have no control over and no knowledge of. Your effort, your time, your skills, your budget, your market, your persistence and plain luck all matter more than the product does.

Treat every purchase as money you are prepared to lose. If losing the purchase price would hurt, do not spend it.

What I would want you to do

Read the sales page carefully, including the refund policy. Check who is actually behind the product. Ask whether you have the time it needs. Then decide. If the answer is no, do not buy it. I would rather you stayed on my list for years than bought one thing you regretted.

You can also just take the free guide, unsubscribe, and never buy anything from me. That is completely fine and the guide is still yours.
